Wildcrafted Botanical Resin Balm aka The Celestial Recovery Balm

A handcrafted whole-botanical resin balm created for skin, muscles, and the quiet rituals of restoration.

Warrawaul—the Dharug word for Milky Way — is a tribute to the Celestial pathways that have quietly guided people, plants, and place for millennia.

Every botanical and resin is individually extracted by hand in our apothecary using slow traditional methods, preserving the complete botanical expression of each plant — not isolated compounds.

From Harvest to Apothecary Jar

  • Hand-gathered Balm of Gilead (Cottonwood/Poplar buds) from Ku-ring-gai, Sydney
  • Wildcrafted Myrrh (Commiphora confusa) respectfully harvested by Samburu women in Kenya
  • Wildcrafted Kānuka (Kunzea ericoides) from Canterbury, Aotearoa, New Zealand
  • Homegrown Organic St John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum)
  • Wildcrafted Spruce Resin (Picea abies) from Estonia

Slowly hand-extracted in our Australian apothecary using traditional small-batch methods, with reverence, patience, and deep gratitude for every landscape, plant, and community that makes Warrawaul Wildcrafted Botanical Resin Balm possible.

Wildcrafted Botanical Resin Balm

☉ An Invitation to Pause

In a world that asks us to move faster, this is your invitation to slow down.

To place your hands where your body is calling for care.

To honour discomfort not as something to fight, but as an opportunity to reconnect through warmth, touch, and the quiet wisdom of whole plants.

May this be a reminder that restoration begins with presence.

How You’ll Know It’s Calling You

When everyday aches, tired muscles, winter chest rubs, or hardworking hands call for a trusted botanical first aid.

Gentle enough to become a cherished family apothecary staple, Warrawaul is crafted for every generation—from little explorers to wise elders—bringing warmth, comfort, and whole botanical care whenever it’s needed most.

Crafted without water this resin balm is naturally long-lasting and made to travel well. Whether tucked into a backpack, glove box, first-aid kit, garden shed, or beside the kitchen sink, it becomes the balm you’ll instinctively reach for, time and time again.

How to use WARRAWAUL wildcrafted resin balm; Firstly, rub the balm over any aches, pain, or tension in your body. So much relief! Wonderful as a chest rub for congestion + cough or over the neck for sore throats. So amazing for sick little ones, loosening up the mucous and so calming too. Moreover, apply thinly to wounds to prevent scarring, to existing scars to reduce scar tissue, and to burns a few times daily. Massage in lightly if possible and take care not to disturb new scar tissue. Repeat daily for active healing. Apply a small amount and massage gently into the skin whenever comfort, nourishment, or restoration is needed.

Where Restoration Begins

Not in rushing to silence discomfort, but in slowing down long enough to hear what the body has been asking for all along this resin balm is an invitation to meet those moments with peace.
